THE ORIGINAL ESPRESSO DYNASTY

ALL ABOUT THE CREMA
BSR has worked with espresso innovation leader La Marzocco on brand development projects for more than twenty years. Our most recent collaboration was to help in the creation of a museum and show room to chronicle the history and innovation of the near 100 year old company. The facility would also house their first-ever retail coffee bar.

TELLING THE STORY
The museum , show room and coffee bar would be housed adjacent to the KEXP live-performance stage in the heart of Seattle, a space through which thousands of locals and visitors would pass daily. BSR had previously created legacy and history pieces for La Marzocco so we were very familiar with their story, but this project would be different. Along with their history we would be creating displays using several historic espresso machine models, cutting edge espresso machines that La Marzocco would be releasing very soon, and a collection of historical La Marzocco artifacts, most of which we would have to sleuth, unearth or replicate ourselves.

100 YEARS AND COUNTING
BSR collaborated with La Marzocco in the development of its Seattle Museum, Showroom and Coffee Bar. We provided not only designs and materials and finishes to be used in the build out of the space but also physical displays and artifacts, and the informational language and hierarchy used to convey this interesting story to the public.
